Micro-guide · adoption nudge

Reply in the thread. Not a new message.

The most common channel-hygiene problem at every company, and a 60-second fix once people see what a stray message does to a channel. Built two ways: a click-through for Slack and Teams, and a drop-in GIF for the channel where the reminder keeps not sticking.

Option 1 · the click-through

Anyone have the final Q3 numbers? Need them for the board deck this afternoon.

You have the numbers. How do you send them?

Option 2 · the postable reminder

Animated reminder: a question gets buried under new messages, versus a tidy threaded reply that keeps the channel clean.

Drop it in the channel that needs it.

Same lesson, no clicks. A six-second loop: the question gets buried under new messages, then the calm version where the answer lives in a thread. Post it once when a channel gets noisy and it does the nudging, so you don't have to be the thread police.

Built as a teaching pattern: the same content works as practice (the click-through) or a reminder (the GIF). Drop in your own channel names and brand colors and it's yours.
